Graduate Associate Teaching Award Winners 2011
The Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) is Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students. Approximately 3,000 graduate students teach as graduate teaching associates at Ohio State each year, and 10 are honored as GATA winners by the university community. Each winner receives a $1,500 award.
This year's winners are: Monali Chowdhury, Psychology; Melissa Doran, Spanish and Portuguese; Leigh Fine, Sociology; Matt Foulds, History; Courtney Harris, Dance; DJ Hovermale, Linguistics; Katherine Parker, English; Elizabeth Riter, Civil Engineering; Spencer Robinson, Slavic Languages; and Pamela Vincent, Human Development and Family Science.
The GATA award is in its 39th year.
