Graduate School Welcome and Resource Fair
Monday, September 19, 9:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

 

All new Ohio State graduate students are invited. Join us for a program that will help you make a successful transition to graduate school. This program complements your home graduate program's orientation. RSVP requested but not required.

Program
  • Meet new fellow graduate students and Graduate School staff: Refreshments outside University Hall, 9:15 a.m.
  • Introduction to graduate study at Ohio State: Independence Hall, 9:45 a.m.

Speakers include Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Dean of the Graduate School Patrick S. Osmer; Ohio State President E. Gordon Gee; Executive Vice President and Provost Joseph A. Alutto; Presidential Fellow Rachel Kopec, Ph.D. candidate in Ohio State Univeristy Nutrition Program; Professor Steven Conn, Department of History, and Vijay Gadepally, president of the Council of Graduate Students.

  • Get help and answers at the Resource Fair: University Hall, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Representatives from registration services, parking, library, e-mail and technology, campus safety, recreation, health services, human resources, and cultural and civic organizations in Columbus.

  • Graduate students are also invited to all of Ohio State’s Welcome Week events, including the Student Involvement Fair after our welcome event.  Welcome week events

The Graduate School is an important part of your  graduate degree experience at Ohio State, and you will interact with us on a regular basis.
