November 18 Nomination Begins in SIS | instructions
January 7 Deadline for graduate programs to request GPA calculation from Graduate Admissions to receive it in time for fellowship
January 21 (5 p.m.) All nominations must be made through the SIS system by 5 p.m. for final processing in the Graduate School’s Nomination System.
January 22 (5 p.m.) Fellowship nomination lists and nominees’ application materials from graduate programs are to be uploaded by 5 p.m. in the Graduate School’s Nomination System. Nominations received after this deadline will not be included in the competition. Nominees who do not meet the fellowship eligibility criteria and those whose applications are incomplete (except for allotted waivers as explained in the announcement) will also not be included in the competition.
February 10 (4 p.m.) Confidential list of awardees and reallocation forms available on the Graduate School’s Nomination System.
February 10 (8 a.m.)–April 15 (5 p.m.) Graduate Program Option One reallocation selections and forms will be accepted during this time period.
February 17 Graduate School award letters made available to graduate programs via the Graduate School’s Nomination System for use in sending complete (Graduate School and graduate program) offers. If the program is satisfied with the offer at this point and would like the Graduate School to send the letter to the awardee now, please email to request the letter be sent.
March 4 Fellowship award letters sent via email by the Graduate School to successful applicants. Graduate Programs are responsible for notifying students who are unsuccessful.
April 15 (5 p.m.) The nationally agreed upon postmark deadline for awardees to notify the Graduate School of their decision to accept or decline their fellowships. Funding for University and Graduate Enrichment Fellowships that are not accepted by this date will not be awarded by the Graduate School.
April 15 (5 p.m.) Option One reallocation due
April 16 (5 p.m.) All College-Allocated fellowships must be submitted online by 5 p.m.
April 16 (5 p.m.)

Graduate Program Option Two reallocation selections and signed forms are due | instructions

April 30 (5 p.m.) Fellowships offered under Option Two and College Allocated Fellowships offered on April 15 (5 p.m.) must be accepted by this date. Funding for fellowships that are not accepted by this date will not be awarded by the Graduate School.
May 1 (5 p.m.) Deadline to notify Graduate School of students who will begin their fellowships in the summer
