Criteria
Criteria for admission to Ohio State vary by individual graduate program. However, the minimum undergraduate GPA is a 3.0, and programs also require a 4-year completed undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. Review the detailed requirements for each Ohio State graduate program and degree that you are interested in.
Deadlines and Timelines
Application deadlines vary by graduate program.
Most but not all graduate programs admit for the autumn semester, with an expectation that students will be on campus beginning in mid-August.
Most graduate programs make admission and funding decisions between January and March for domestic students and between December and March for international students. In most cases, the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions and the graduate programs must receive your required admissions materials by January 15 (for domestic students) and by November 30 (for international students).
