Teaching Basics and Opportunities for Hands-on Experiences

In this information session, postdocs will get the opportunity to interact with faculty from Columbus State Community College (CSCC ), who will talk about their teaching experiences and the lessons they have learned along the way to help those starting out in their academic careers. The CSCC faculty will also discuss ways in which Ohio State postdocs can gain hands-on teaching experience at CSCC.

Additionally, leaders from the Michael V. Drake Institute for Teaching and Learning will be in attendance to provide an overview of the free teaching-related resources and trainings the Drake Institute provides to the Ohio State community. 

Please join this information session if you are interested in teaching, want to learn more about the tools and training resources available at Ohio State, or will soon go on the job market. The hands-on experiences available at CSCC are a great way to strengthen future faculty job applications.
