Graduate Student Access and Fairness

Since 1984 the Graduate School, in coordination with advocates and allies across campus, design and deliver recruitment, retention, professional development and community building strategies that advance the mission and vision of the Graduate School and further the organizational access and fairness objectives of The Ohio State University.

Recruitment Strategies and the Summer Research Opportunities Programs

The Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) is a gateway to graduate education at Big Ten Academic Alliance universities. SROP helps prepare undergraduates for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities. SROP seeks to increase the number of students who can pursue graduate education by focusing on increasing program and research access that will prepare future students for successful careers at the graduate level.
