Misleading Fee Authorizations on Student Accounts

Students appointed as graduate associates or fellows during spring 2016 may see misleading fee authorizations on their summer and autumn statements of account.

Student accounts do not accurately reflect terminations and fee authorizations until two weeks prior to the start date of the appointment. If a student’s appointment will terminate at the end of spring, their statement of account will not accurately reflect the termination until two weeks prior to the effective date, and their account may show a fee authorization for the following term(s) that they will not be receiving.

Please tell your students about this problem so that they can monitor their statements of account. If students have questions about their fellowship or GA appointment, they should refer to their award letter or appointment document.

First Four-Week Credit Still Available

Please remind your students that the 3-hour tuition credit for the first four-week session (former May session) is still available. To be eligible, students need to have been enrolled full-time during the spring term.

The last day to add a class for the first four-week session is Friday, May 13.
