As the administrative director for the OPA, James designs, leads, and organizes programs for early career investigators and their mentors and advocates for inclusive and equitable changes to the policies and processes that impact postdoctoral scholars during their time at Ohio State. James has been a part of the university community for more than seventeen years, as both a trainee and employee. Prior to joining the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, James worked in research development, supporting investigators in their pursuit of funding from federal and private funders, in STEM education program management, and higher education administration at both Ohio State and Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.
