This workshop is designed for doctoral students interested in working in a staff position in higher education understanding that with full-time, tenure-track faculty positions declining there are other higher education opportunities. Today many doctoral students choose stable professional staff positions in higher education. There are various fulfilling opportunities, such as student support, academic advising, campus programming, and/or administration. We will have a panel of three doctoral staff/administrators talking about working and finding fulfillment in various staff positions.
