 Workshop Description: Is AI really transforming industries, or is it just hype? Join us for a practical, no-nonsense conversation about what AI's impact on industry. In this 60-minute session, we'll explore what's actually happening across industries—from life sciences to business to humanities—and help you understand where AI skills fit into your professional journey. Whether you're just starting your graduate program or finishing up, you'll gain clarity on the difference between AI-aware, AI-integrated, and AI-specialized professionals, and discover where you stand. No technical background required—just bring your curiosity and career questions.

Jayshree Gururaj, Ohio State University alum.

She is a biz-tech executive, thought leader, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership experience at Fortune 100 companies including Amazon, HP, Cisco, and AT&T/Lucent. She has scaled businesses from idea to global operations—building a $100M business at Amazon in under a year and launching an HP SMB product that won both the Gartner Innovation Award and the HP Chief Marketing Officer Award. She has led global teams across the US, UK, and India, driving large-scale growth and innovation. She is the Founder & CEO of Kindeeds, a purpose-driven startup, and advises organizations on AI, digital transformation, and business strategy. As an EWOR Fellow (top 1% globally), she developed AI prototypes for B2B enterprises and works with leadership teams on applying Generative AI, digitalization, and emerging tech to solve complex business problems.
