Presenter
Nicole Yadon (Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science) studies race, identity, and American politics. She received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2020. Her work has been published in top Sociology and Political Science journals, and her book—Skin Color, Power, and Politics in America—was published by the Russell Sage Foundation Press in 2022. She uses mixed methods approaches in her research, including qualitative interviews, surveys, and experiments. Prof. Yadon’s research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Russell Sage Foundation, and numerous other grants and awards.
Workshop Description
This webinar will focus on how to navigate the academic job market in the social sciences, negotiating job offers, and making the transition to tenure-track faculty life.
