Attendees will strengthen their mentoring skills to better support undergraduate and/or graduate students and learn how to “mentor up” to enhance working relationships with faculty mentors. The workshop will focus on five mentoring competencies: Mentoring Up, Aligning Expectations, Maintaining Effective Communication, Mentoring for All, and Fostering Wellbeing. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Graduate School to recognize their advanced training in these mentoring competencies.
