Three of Ohio State’s Area Studies Centers are seeking graduate, professional and select undergraduate students (eligibility varies by center), who are pursuing studies in advanced foreign language and area studies training, to apply for a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS). The fellowships are for Summer 2024 and Academic Year 2024-25 and are funded through the U.S. Department of Education’s Title VI grant. The East Asian Studies Center, Center for Latin American Studies and Center for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies are each hosting a series of information sessions. Applications opened Nov. 1.
