Anyone can help prevent suicide by learning the risks, warning signs, and how to intervene! The Ohio State University Suicide Prevention Program (OSUSPP) is offering two opportunities to graduate & professional students, staff, and faculty to learn how to identify suicide risk and how to respond to any Buckeye who may be experiencing distress. This 90-minute certifiable training experience includes important information about suicide, interactive dialogue, and role play.
On May 5 - 9, Beyond the Professoriate will host it’s Annual Online Career Conference. As a graduate student or postdoc at our institution, you have access to this popular conference series that has helped nearly 20,000 doctoral students, PhDs, and faculty build careers beyond the professoriate.
Up to 4 travel awards are provided each cycle in the amount of up to $750.00 for eligible applicants who are participating in an academic, professional development conference, or training activity. The award is offered as a supplemental reimbursement to cover expenses related to the activity (registration fees, transportation and lodging, etc.). The award is not meant to reimburse for activities that are not primarily professional in purpose.
