Moving this Summer? City of Columbus and Ohio State Team Up to Help!
Moving in or out of the University District? From July 25–August 11, more than two dozen drop-off locations will be available to collect furniture, bagged trash, recyclables, and items for donation. These extra sites are part of the City of Columbus’ continued partnership with Ohio State and the University District Organization to help prevent illegal dumping and give students more sustainable options during move-out/move-in.
Student Parking Permits for 2025-26 are on sale as of July 8, 2025
The window for Ohio State students to purchase their 2025-26 permit is open as of July 8, 2025. Permit eligibility for Graduate and Professional Students is divided into two categories: paid appointment and non-paid appointment status. Students with a university-paid appointment can purchase a B- or C-series permit.

We are pleased to announce the implementation of new policies for proposing the development of International Dual Degree Programs at The Ohio State University. These policies are designed to streamline the process and ensure that our programs meet the highest standards of academic excellence and international collaboration. The most notable of these changes is to relocate the International Cooperative Graduate Degree Agreement within the Office of International Affairs (OIA).

Up to 4 travel awards are provided each cycle in the amount of up to $750.00 for eligible applicants who are participating in an academic, professional development conference, or training activity. The award is offered as a supplemental reimbursement to cover expenses related to the activity (registration fees, transportation and lodging, etc.). The award is not meant to reimburse for activities that are not primarily professional in purpose.
