Is finding focused time to finish that looming dissertation chapter, journal article, or proposal narrative difficult? Do you need people to talk to about your writing ideas? Do you want feedback on drafts of your paper or proposal? Do you sometimes find it challenging to get started on that writing project? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this Writing Community of Practice is the place for you. 

Proposals are now being accepted for the 2026 Outreach and Engagement Graduate Student Poster Competition. Graduate and professional students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Proposals are due Sept. 16.

Selected posters will be presented at the annual Community Partnership Breakfast on Nov. 20 and professional development stipends will be awarded to the top three posters.

The Office of Student Conduct is seeking undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to serve on the University Conduct Board, which hears cases involving non-academic violations of the Code of Student Conduct. Service requires a 3-4 hour training and one to two hearings each semester. A hearing usually lasts from 1-4 hours and may involve 1-2 hours of preparation time.

The Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI) at The Ohio State University is seeking a Graduate Research Associate (GRA) to support the Master of Translational Data Analytics (MTDA) Capstone.

This 50% FTE opportunity is ideal for a graduate student passionate about mentoring multidisciplinary teams, supporting applied AI and data science projects, and helping prepare the next generation of data science professionals through real-world capstone experiences. Ph.D. students are strongly encouraged to apply.
