Registration still open for responsible conduct of research course that meet NSF/NIH requirements
The Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge has developed a credit-earning course to meet National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF) requirements for training in the responsible and ethical conduct of research (RCR). GRADSCH 8000: Responsible Conduct of Research is a weekly, in person, fall term course open to anyone at the university conducting research.

As you may have recently seen, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has updated the requirements for all proposals submitted or due May 20, 2024, and after, and resulting awards. This has added two new requirements (PAPPG (Chapters VII.B.7 and VII.D.1.b[iv])) that apply to graduate students and/or postdoctoral scholars who receive at least one person-month of support in any grant year (mentees).

Student Parking Permits for 2024-25 are on sale
The window for Ohio State students to purchase their 2024-25 permit is now open. Permit eligibility for Graduate and Professional Students is broken up into two groups: paid appointment and non-paid appointment status. Students with a university-paid appointment can purchase a B- or C-series permit.

2025-26 U.S. Student Fulbright Program Accepting Applications Until May 31, 2024
The Office of International Affairs is recruiting graduate student applicants to the U.S. Student Fulbright Program for the 2025-26 award year. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides an opportunity for students to obtain grants to conduct research, enroll in study, or teach English abroad in over 140 countries for up to one academic year.

Call for Student Life Disability Services (SLDS) Finals Support Volunteers
At Student Life Disability Services (SLDS), providing an accessible testing experience for students during Finals Week is an imperative goal and a true team effort. This semester, we are again inviting the campus community to join us in that effort!
SLDS is seeking professional/graduate students and staff volunteers to assist with seating students, monitoring, and/or office administration duties from Wednesday, April 24, through Tuesday, April 30. Shifts are typically 1-2 hours; you can sign up for as many as you like.
