The CBC Entrepreneurial Fellows Award program is a one-year, paid fellowship designed to introduce early-stage life science researchers to the process of bringing medical breakthroughs from the lab space to the commercial shelf. Fellows will be connected to researchers at UIC, Northwestern University, and University of Chicago, as well as members of the Chicago biotech startup community, and industry partners.

Sonkin-Bergman-Wasserman Families' Scholarship
The Sonkin-Bergman-Wasserman Families' Scholarship for International Understanding and Peace provides one award for a deserving graduate/professional student at Ohio State active in research or study that contributes to the pursuit of international understanding and peace. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated financial need, and whose work will apply social science research to intercultural understanding.

Phyllis Krumm Memorial International Scholarship
The Phyllis Krumm Memorial International Scholarship provides up to three awards to deserving graduate students for research or study in a European country or in China. Applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student at Ohio State in an academic program of study in any field. Students must demonstrate excellence in scholarship and an appropriate background for research or study in Europe or China (including the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and/or Taiwan).

2024 Postdoctoral Scholar Mentor of the Year Award Nominations
Each year, this award is presented to a postdoctoral scholar who has demonstrated outstanding mentoring of junior trainees (high school, undergraduate or graduate students) and their peers (other postdocs, team members and lab staff) through leadership and support. The recipient must demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication and management skills, as well as encourage and maintain accessible, professional and supportive lab environment that enhances the mentee experience.

FY2025 Fulbright-Hays Dissertation Research Fellowship Applicants Sought
The Office of International Affairs is soliciting applicants for the FY2025 U.S. Department of Education Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship competition. This program provides grants to colleges and universities to fund individual doctoral students to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months.

The Graduate School and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs are pleased to announce that the President’s Postdoctoral Scholars Program (PPSP) 2024 competition is now open! PPSP recognizes highly qualified postdocs who will become leaders in their fields. The program supports the scholarly efforts and training of terminal degree holders (MFA, PhD, and others) who wish to pursue careers in research and creative inquiry, as well as providing professional development and networking opportunities.
