gradFORMS Application Update Project - Message from the Graduate School

The Graduate School at The Ohio State University is excited to announce a significant update to gradFORMS, our online system for managing graduate student forms and processes. This project, set to take place over the summer of 2025, aims to enhance the user experience for students, faculty, and staff. 

The update will introduce a more intuitive interface, streamlined workflows, and improved accessibility features. These changes are designed to make it easier for users to navigate the system, submit forms, and track their progress. The project will also include a comprehensive update to online support materials to ensure all users are well-prepared to utilize the new features. 

The timeline for the project is as follows: 

  • April: Announcement of project to graduate community, which includes this message. 
  • May: Additional announcement of the project in the graduate student community news newsletter. 
  • June: Several announcements and updates to graduate programs and students. 
  • Current timeline for project completion update message 
  • Addition of new support materials on the Graduate School website that cover major actions within the application 
  • July:  Two reminders about completing forms that are currently in progress within the current gradFORMS system. 
  • August: Full launch of the updated gradFORMS, with updated links on the website to the new version of the application. 

We are committed to providing the best possible tools and resources to support our graduate community. This update to gradFORMS is a testament to our dedication to continuous improvement and innovation. We look forward to the positive impact these changes will have on our students and faculty.
