Five Ohio State Students Move to Second Round of Fulbright Review

Congratulations to the ten Ohio State graduate students (and their programs) who were put forward for this year's Fulbright, and to the five who have moved on to the next round of the competition. I would like to call attention to the breadth of the disciplines represented in the finalists. Ohio State is a big place, and that is one of our strengths—whatever your interests, you truly can find it at Ohio State. The finalists are:

  • Katherine Fitzgerald (Comparative Studies), China
  • Rahwa Hassen (Public Health), Ethiopia
  • Marissa Lally (Educational Studies), Columbia
  • Anna Meyerrose (Political Science), European Union
  • Kelly Yotebieng (Anthropology), Cameroon
  • Jonathan Capp (Art), Finland
  • Laura Di Giulio (Environmental & Natural Resources), Italy
  • Sara Halpern (History), Israel
  • Lucas Opperman (Law), United Kingdom
  • Hannah Vidmar (African-American & African Studies), Tanzania

Congratulations to all.
