International Students at Ohio State

Recent events in U.S.-China relations have caused understandable concern in the student community on campus. The Graduate School and the Office of International Affairs want to affirm to all students, post-doctoral trainees, and the wider university community that Ohio State and the Graduate School welcomes our international students.

Ohio State has a diverse student body, including international students from over 100 countries that comprise our inclusive culture of excellence in graduate education. Their contributions as scholars and researchers are vital to our university community, but so too are their contributions as teachers, colleagues, and friends. Our commitment to supporting our global culture is strong and will remain a pillar of our mission in graduate education.

We recognize that international students face unique challenges, and to that end, the Graduate School and the Office of International Affairs offer services to help. International students in need of assistance are advised to contact the Office of International Affairs.
