Congratulations to the 10 Ohio State graduate students (and their programs) who were put forward for this year's Fulbright competition. Five (indicated with an *) have moved on to the next round of the competition.

  • Jonathan Capp (Art), Finland
  • Laura Di Giulio (Environmental & Natural Resources), Italy
  • Katherine Fitzgerald (Comparative Studies), China*
  • Sara Halpern (History), Israel
  • Rahwa Hassen (Public Health), Ethiopia*
  • Marissa Lally (Educational Studies), Columbia*
  • Anna Meyerrose (Political Science), European Union*
  • Lucas Opperman (Law), United Kingdom
  • Hannah Vidmar (African-American & African Studies), Tanzania

I am impressed with the breadth of disciplines represented in the finalists, which is an indicator of the quality of work being proposed by our graduate students. Learn more about this and other Fulbright opportunities.
