Preparing Future Faculty applications open

The Graduate School's Preparing Future Faculty program helps graduate students from any discipline discern whether they are interested in pursuing faculty careers in liberal arts colleges or small universities.
Graduate students are matched with faculty mentors at partner colleges in and around Columbus and participate in other career development activities.
Alumni Grants for Graduate Research
Deadline: March 20, 5 p.m.
The Graduate School’s Alumni Grants for Graduate Research and Scholarship (AGGRS) Program provides small grants up to $5,000 to support the research and scholarship of doctoral or terminal master’s degree candidates for their dissertations or theses.

J. Parker and Kathryn Webb Dinius Fellowship
Generous donors established the J. Parker and Kathryn Webb Dinius Fellowship to support students who plan to pursue or who are pursuing a graduate or professional degree at Ohio State.
Preference is given to students who earned an undergraduate varsity letter, with priority given to football players, at Ohio State.

Payroll Deduct Form for GAs Updated
The Payroll Deduct form has been updated. It verifies that GAs and graduate fellows have been informed about student fee deductions from their stipend checks; the form must be signed by all GAs and graduate fellows.

The Research Commons is a space where researchers can connect with each other and with services that support and enable their work. They offer group study room rentals, research consultations, and more.

A certified instructor from Ohio State’s Campus Suicide Prevention Program will teach faculty, GTAs, and advising staff about prevention and early intervention techniques designed to help save a life from suicide.

U.S. Dept. of Energy Graduate Student Research Program
Deadline: May 16, 5 p.m.
Supplemental awards available to outstanding U.S. graduate students to conduct part of their graduate thesis research at a DOE national laboratory in collaboration with a DOE laboratory scientist for a period of 3 to 12 consecutive months
