The Graduate School would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the 2025 Annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT™) Competition hosted by the Graduate School. This competition gives top graduate and professional students, including some of last year’s Hayes Advanced Research Forum winners, an opportunity to present their own research in three minutes or less. The students competing at this event have already gone through a competition and were selected by their college or selection committee to advance and compete at the university level.
The 3MT™ is a global phenomenon that creates a professional development opportunity that includes compelling oration of research and its relevance, in just 3 minutes to support development of communicating that research to a non-specialist audience.
The Ohio State University 3MT™ finalist will be selected at this competition and advance to the next (regional) level, representing The Ohio State University and showcasing their research. Competing at the regional, national and perhaps international level can bring visibility, not only to the university, but also to the student as a researcher and the student’s research, since today over 200 universities from over 80 countries participate in this competition.
Event Details:
Date: Feb 5, 2025
