The National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, organized by the Council of Graduate Students and the Graduate School, concluded with resounding success. The week-long celebration saw an impressive turnout, with over 2,500 graduate students visiting the Graduate School to collect appreciation items. The Council of Graduate Students reported that more than 500 students participated in the popular events, including Donuts with the Deans and the SERU pizza party.
The increased foot traffic in the Graduate School during the appreciation week highlighted the strong sense of community and support among graduate students. The events provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect with peers, faculty, and administrators, fostering a sense of belonging and recognition for their hard work and dedication.
The Graduate School and the Council of Graduate Students extend their heartfelt thanks to all participants and volunteers who made the week a memorable success. The overwhelming response and engagement from the graduate student community underscore the importance of such initiatives in promoting a positive and supportive academic environment.
As we reflect on the achievements of this year's appreciation week, we look forward to continuing to celebrate and support our graduate and professional students in the years to come.
