Graduate School announces 2025–26 Graduate Coordinator Wellness Program of the Year Award recipients

The Graduate School is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025–26 Graduate Coordinator Wellness Program of the Year Award, recognizing graduate coordinators who have developed innovative wellness programming with a meaningful impact on graduate student well-being at The Ohio State University. 

The award honors efforts that support Ohio State’s culture of care by advancing the Ten Dimensions of Wellness and fostering connection, belonging, resilience and academic success among graduate students. Graduate coordinators play a central role in building supportive academic communities, and this year’s recipients exemplify that commitment through creative, responsive and student-centered programming. 

The Graduate School congratulates the 2025–26 award recipients and extends appreciation to all nominated graduate coordinators whose dedication to graduate student wellness strengthens programs and colleges across the university. 

2025–26 Graduate Coordinator Wellness Program of the Year Award recipients

  • Milo Aly, Health Sciences – Neuroscience Graduate Program
    Aly was recognized for the Financial Wellness and Stability Series, a program designed to help graduate students address financial stress while strengthening overall wellness and stability.
  • Tracy Hanson, Engineering – Engineering Education
    Hanson received the award for Wellness C2 F2, a holistic initiative centering graduate students’ creative, fitness, career and financial wellness.
  • Ange Leone, Arts and Sciences – Design
    Leon was honored for Co-Designing the Future of Graduate School Wellness, a program that engages graduate students in shaping their well-being throughout their graduate experience. 

The Graduate Coordinator Wellness Program of the Year Award reflects the Graduate School’s commitment to recognizing leadership that removes barriers, builds community and promotes well-being as an essential component of graduate education. Graduate coordinators are vital partners in ensuring graduate students are supported both academically and personally as they progress toward degree completion.
