Nominations are now open for the 2025-2026 Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA), Ohio State’s highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as graduate teaching associates (GTAs). This is a one-time $2,000 award given out every spring. Exceptional GTAs can be nominated from now until Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. by any Ohio State student, staff or faculty member.

The Graduate School is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024‐2025 Graduate Associate Teaching Awards (GATA). GATA is the premier award for celebrating excellence in teaching at the graduate level. Recipients of the GATA are nominated by faculty, staff and students through an anonymous nomination process.

Nominations for the Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) are open through November 15, 2023. Any Ohio State student, faculty, or staff member may nominate a GTA.
