Engagement Scholarship Consortium Conference call for proposals
The call for proposals is open for the 2025 Engagement Scholarship Consortium Conference on Oct. 8-9 in Roanoke, Virginia. This year's conference theme is "Bridging Resources to Build Stronger Communities." Presentation proposals will be considered on any topic clearly connected to the advancement of community engagement. Ohio State is a member of ESC. Proposals are due March 31.

Emerging Engagement Scholars Workshop
The Emerging Engagement Scholars Workshop (EESW) is part of the Engagement Scholarship Consortium’s (ESC) 2025 pre-conference program, taking place Oct. 6-7. This intensive professional development program provides advanced doctoral students and early career faculty with background literature, facilitated discussion, mentoring, and presentations designed to increase their knowledge and enhance their practice of community-engaged scholarship. The application deadline is April 11.
Awards for Excellence in Engaged Scholarship
The Engagement Scholarship Consortium supports and encourages excellence in engaged scholarship through its annual ESC Awards Program. The 2025 ESC Awards of Excellence in Engaged Scholarship will recognize exemplary institutional programs in the following categories: Student, Faculty, Outreach and Engagement Professional, Community Partner, Institutional Leadership, Distinguished Dissertation, and Distinguished Engaged Scholar Nominations are due April 4.
