The Graduate School is happy to announce the 2024-2025 Presidential Fellowship recipients. The Presidential Fellowship is the most prestigious award given by the Graduate School to recognize the outstanding scholarly accomplishments and potential of graduate students entering the final phase of their dissertation research or terminal degree project.

A tradition of the Graduate School at Ohio State is to recognize the various skills that make a successful student within the graduate community. Leadership is one of the overarching skills and competencies that contribute to the students’ employability.

Nominations for the Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) are open through November 15, 2023. Any Ohio State student, faculty, or staff member may nominate a GTA.

A record number of graduate students from The Ohio State University have been awarded prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program fellowships for 2023-2024.

The Graduate Associate Leadership Award (GALA) is Ohio State’s recognition of the exceptional leadership provided by graduate students as leaders (on and off campus) while being an OSU graduate (master’s or doctoral) student.

The Emerging Social Work Leader Award recognizes outstanding contributions of members who have been in practice for five years or less. In honoring the Emerging Social Work Leader, NASW highlights the exemplary contributions of social workers who are new to the field.
