Increasingly, graduate students are interested in using digital research methods and tools in their coursework and their theses and dissertations, and they are seeking opportunities to learn about them. This student-centered, student-directed Community of Practice (CoP) provides a forum for Arts + Humanities graduate students to mingle and learn about best practices, digital research methods, various tools and available resources.

PhD student Shannon Poulsen was the lead author on a paper published in PLOS One.

Kline worked with Ohio’s Latino Affairs Commission
Part of the reason Anisa Kline chose to pursue a doctorate in geography at The Ohio State University was the practical nature of the research.
“The thing I love about geography is that it is literally grounded in place,” she said. “You’re talking about people and processes happening in a specific place. Everything happens somewhere.”
2023 Graduate School Awards Ceremony Highlights
Nearly 200 faculty, staff and students celebrated multiple areas of excellence and achievement at The Ohio State University’s annual Graduate School Awards Ceremony, held on April 26, 2023, at the Ohio Union Performance Hall. The ceremony, an annual culmination of all Graduate School awards and recognitions received during the past academic year, celebrates outstanding achievements within Ohio State’s graduate community.
