  • Call for Applicants: CBC Entrepreneurial Fellows Award program

    The CBC Entrepreneurial Fellows Award program is a one-year, paid fellowship designed to introduce early-stage life science researchers to the process of bringing medical breakthroughs from the lab space to the commercial shelf. Fellows will be connected to researchers at UIC, Northwestern University, and University of Chicago, as well as members of the Chicago biotech startup community, and industry partners.   • Call for Applications: Research Operations, Management, and Strategy (ROMS) Fellowship

    The UMMS Research Operations, Management, and Strategy (ROMS) Fellowship is now accepting applications for the 2025-2027 cohort!

     The ROMS Fellowship is a 2-year paid full-time position. The fellowship provides a unique and valuable experience for biomedical PhD graduates and postdoctoral trainees, as they transition from the research bench to rewarding careers in research operations and administration. Don’t miss the deadline, February 17, 2025, by 11:59 PM EST.

  • University of Michigan Postdoc Preview Applications are Open

    The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is now accepting applications for its in-person Postdoc Preview recruiting event on May 8-9, 2025.

    This is an application-based event where selected candidates will receive a fully-funded two-day visit to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus. Invited guests will have the opportunity to interview with prospective mentors, network with current postdocs, and learn about life in Ann Arbor. We look forward to introducing you to the extensive postdoctoral research and training opportunities at U-M, as well as the unique benefits and resources available to postdocs at Michigan.

    Applicants are selected from a national pool of candidates currently enrolled in a U.S. graduate institution within the biomedical or life sciences realm. Applicants must have an anticipated graduation date by the Spring of 2026.

  • Sonkin-Bergman-Wasserman Families' Scholarship

    The Sonkin-Bergman-Wasserman Families' Scholarship for International Understanding and Peace provides one award for a deserving graduate/professional student at Ohio State active in research or study that contributes to the pursuit of international understanding and peace. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated financial need, and whose work will apply social science research to intercultural understanding.

    Deadline: March 24, 2025

  • Phyllis Krumm Memorial International Scholarship

    The Phyllis Krumm Memorial International Scholarship provides up to three awards to deserving graduate students for research or study in a European country or in China. Applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student at Ohio State in an academic program of study in any field. Students must demonstrate excellence in scholarship and an appropriate background for research or study in Europe or China (including the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and/or Taiwan).

    Deadline: March 24, 2025
